Thank you Vallika and Dr Anandi . Even I felt Sridevi is beautiful w/o nose job. But she needed it to get into Bollywood which she wanted. Either way an extremely talented actress. I always hoped Kamal and her would marry!
It was a very poignant song.. well done and the song was in Pava Manippu.. all the songs in that movie were so good.. and the story was nice to show the ultimate unity between the different religious people.. the artists were so aptly cast..
I know I am replying to a thread after a long time.. again..
This is one of the most melodious songs that I love the most. The music and the lyrics are awesome. From the movie - "Dharma Yuththam"- Rajnikanth and Sridevi..

This is one great song Ravi! Wonderful combination of Ilayaraja, Malaysia Vasudevan and Janaki!
You know what - I have also selected one such combination to be posted today and here it is from the movie 'சிவப்பு ரோஜாக்கள்' - இந்த மின்மினுக்குக் கண்ணில் ஒரு.
we heard vani jayaram, bombay brought up tamilian, sing 'bhole re papi' in guddi, where she and jaya bhaduri debuted.
jaya went on to bigger and better things, but poor vani's career was stymied by that 'sweet nightingale' lata mangeshkar, who was anything but sweet, when it came to giving anyone else a chance in hindi film music.
vani did not much luck in the south either, marginalized by p.suseela, and had to be satisfied with some niche song here and there.
still, whenever and wherever she got a chance, she excelled. here is my vani favourite, naathamenum koilile from manmadha leelai.
Out here in Malaysia,Malays have their own Eid Song and Chinese have their own Gong Xi Fa Cai(Chinese New Year)song but we Indians still don't have a Diwali/Deepavali song till now.
I guess we should compose one song for ourselves out here in Malaysia preferably in Sanskrit so that it will be fair to all types of Indians.
Every year I tell my husband that when are we going to have a Deepavali song and every year I end up singing him this song for Deepavali!!!
