Water is a serious issue .
In delhi south and west delhi are starved for water due to dispute with haryana . two new water
treatment plants are lying idle due to this
then there is the tanker mafia taking advantage providing water only to the privileged
there might be enough for all . there is bad ,uneven distribution . every household mostly middle
class even ground floor have to pump water to tanks due to low pressure . many pump air
mostly for several minutes instead of water as , the timings of supply upto one hour is not kept
by jal board .
the pumping of air , leads to water meters whirring , people paying for air instead of water along
with higher power bills. some motor burn outs also take place. there have been water riots also .
this summer there is no govt in delhi . shiela and AAP were good for local issues . delhites have a
cruel summer ahead
