குரங்குப்பிடி, தர்மஅடி



ஆசைதான் எல்லாத் துன்பத்திற்கும் காரணம்,
ஆர்தான் மறுக்க முடியும் இந்த உண்மையை?
பாசம் என்றால் கயிறு, நம்மை பலவாறு
பந்தப் படுத்தும் பார்க்க முடியாத கயிறு

எது எதையெல்லாம் விட்டு விடுகிறோமோ,
அது அதனால் நமக்குத் துன்பம் இல்லை!
“யாதனின் யாதனின் நீங்கியான், நோதல்
அதனின் அதனின் இலன்” அல்லவா?

காலைப் பற்றி தொங்கும்போதே நம்மை
காலால் எற்றும் உரிமையை அளிக்கிறோம்.
வைக்கும் இடத்தில வைக்கப்பட்டால் தான்,
கைப்பாவையாய் நம்மை ஆட்டிப் படையார்.

குறுகிய வாயுடைய ஒரு சிறிய ஜாடி,
பொரி கடலையால் நிரம்பி மணக்கும்;
மறு எண்ணம் இல்லாமல் கையை விட்டு
நிரம்ப அள்ளும் அறியாக் குரங்கு!

கையும் மாட்டிக்கொண்டது ஜாடியில்,
மெய்யும் மாட்டிக்கொண்டது மனிதனிடம்!
கையை விட்டால் தான் விடுதலை.
கையை விட்டால் இல்லை கடலை!

கடலையா அல்லது விடுதலையா? என்று
உடனடி முடிவு எடுக்க வேண்டும் குரங்கு.
ஒன்று கிடைக்காமலே போகலாம்,
இரண்டுமே கிடைக்காமலும் போகலாம்!

மரத்திடம் சென்று வலியப் பற்றிக் கொண்டு ,
மரம் எனை விடுவதில்லை என்பது போல;
உலகை நாமே வலியப் பற்றிக்கொண்டு,
உலகம் நம்மை விடவில்லை என்போம்!

யாருக்காகவும் எதுவுமே நிற்காது,
உருண்டு ஓடும் உலகம் முன்னோக்கி!
தான் இல்லாத உலகம் நின்றுவிடும் என்று,
தன்னைத் தானே ஏய்த்துக் கொள்வானேன்?

“பந்தமா முக்தியா”? முடிவு நமதே.
“பாசமா பக்தியா”? முடிவு நமதே.
“குறையா நிறையா”? முடிவு நமதே.
“சிறையா விடுதலையா”? முடிவு நமதே.

“இன்பமா துன்பமா”? முடிவு நமதே.
“இவ்வுலகமா வீடு பேறா”? முடிவு நமதே.
இத்தனை முடிவுகளும் நம்மிடம் இருக்க,
பித்தரைப் போல துயர் அடைவதேன்?

செல்வம் என்று பெயர் பெற்றதோ?
உருண்டு ஓடுவதால் நாணயங்கள்
உருண்டையாக என்றும் உள்ளனவோ?

பறந்து போவதால் தான் பணம்
பறக்கும் காகிதம் ஆயிற்றோ?
விடை இல்லாத இவைகளை
விடுகதைகள் எனக் கூறலாமா?

உருண்டு சென்றாலும் பறந்து சென்றாலும்,
உலகில் மதிப்பு சேர்ப்பது இதுவே.
பணம் இருந்தால் எல்லாம் உண்டு;
பணம் இல்லாவிட்டால் ஏதும் இல்லை.

மதிப்பு இல்லாதவர்களுக்கும் நல்ல,
மதிப்பு சேர்க்கும் இந்தச் செல்வம்.
மதிக்க வல்லவரானாலும் ஒருவர் தன்,
மதிப்பை இழப்பார் செல்வம் இன்றேல்.

செல்வந்தருக்கு பெரிய சுற்றம் இருக்கும்,
செல்வம் இல்லையேல் எவரும் இல்லை.
உலகின் ஆதாரம் இந்தப் பொருளே,
உலகில் பொருளாதாரம் என்பது இதுவே.

பாம்பு என்றால் படையும் நடுங்குமோ?
பாம்புக்கு படை அஞ்சாதோ அறியோம்!
பணம் என்றால் இறந்த மனிதனின்,
பிணம் கூட வாய் திறப்பது உறுதி!

பாதாளம் வரை பாய வல்ல இந்தப்
பணம் கொடிய பகைவரை அழிக்கும்,
நண்பர் எண்ணிக்கையைப் பெருக்கும்,
நன்மைகளை நம் வசப் படுத்தும்.

செல்வம் உள்ளவர்களின் வாக்கே,
செல்வாக்கு என்று அழைக்கப்படும்.
செல்வம் இருந்தால் செல்லும் நம் வாக்கு,
செல்வம் இன்றேல் செல்லாது நம் வாக்கு!

Dear Sir,
No need to move away from anyone or anything.
Our guru used to tell us this.
"Enjoy everything that comes your way due to your good fortune - even without your efforts.
But enjoy WITHOUT getting attached to them."
It is not the things or persons that bind us in the bondage.
It is our mind which gets attached to them that creates the bondage.
Devi Bhaagavatam deals with this in great detail.
I do not want to take over Sri P.S.N's thread.
