Can the post death rituals (nithya karma - 9th to 12 th day) be postponed in view of the pandemic and lockdown?
If yes, any prayachittham to be done?
Before when theses should be completed?
I have to perform rites to my mother and in this lockdown period some prohits are suggesting to do this at my home itself from day 9 to 12.
Is this permitted. I have heard these rituals should not be done at home.
Similarly some prohits are recommending to do all days combined once the lockdown is lifted. I am not sure whether these are acceptable.
