Palagaram and its meaning in TBs

Not open for further replies.
helo phala agaram means you are right fruits as meaLS
JOKINGly it is said pala means differnt agarammeans meals
the real meaning of phala agaam is phala also means leaves
so eat leaves and furits only onthe day of fasting tokeep the stomach clean

That's right. It's only eating of fruits (phalams), that too in small quantity. But, it later on became many (pala) aharams, anything except cooked ones.
