Gone are the days when Indian weddings were all about budgeting. The new age weddings are all about moolah and splendour. And, the modern day brides and grooms too have no qualms in splurging for the biggest event of their lives. So, have a wedding to attend? Expect an exotic dancer swaying on the dance floor and an internationally acclaimed magician turning a handkerchief into pigeon!

According to Saloni Sanghavi. a Mumbai based event planner, the wedding game has changed completely. "The magnitude of entertainment in weddings has increased manifold over the years. Clients are willing to spend on top - notch, versatile artists/performers and have a perfectly orchestrated series of events to upscale the entertainment factor for their guests. It adds to the grandeur of the wedding!"

We got in touch with mentalist, illusionist and one of country's most talked about magicians- Ugesh Sarcar, who's quite a charmer at these big fat Indian weddings to understand how the entertainment quotient has changed at Indian weddings.
