I can translate it in bits and pieces. Can you tell whose creation is this? What is the source?

Means : The bloomed flower, creepers like canopy, umbrella, and feather fans, parrots and cuckoo singing like professional praise singers in continuous sweet melody giving joy.

I stumbled upon this song when I searched for the source....

Ramayanam - Panchavati Song - Shradha Ganesh

The original song sung by Kavita Krishnamoorthy is here:

Shradha Ganesh's song has terrible pronunciation mistakes.

I am happy that I could translate this song:

This song is about Sita's feeling about forest life which she finds no way less pleasurable than her palace life. The very first line says this...

Vana-upavana sama kopee na aantar
"The forest is same, no difference (from royal palace).

Swagat hetu ahar-nish dolit, lohit nava pallabh-kar
The new red leaves are shaking like hands in welcome night and day.

Sumaan pallavit manobhav iva
The flowers are bloomed like expressions of mind.

Laata-vitaan chatra chamara iva
The canopy of creepers is like royal umbrella and feather fan.

chaaraan gaayaan shookh-pik-saarik
madhur swarali niranatar
saamanta sukhakar
The parrot, cuckoo are singing melodies like royal praise singers which gives pleasure.

Panjar paalit shuki kadachit
mukti lagha-bhaardaan ayachit

(Sita's thoughts about herself) The female parrot who was raised in a cage got the boon of freedom without asking for it.

sukh sadhan aati sulabhavaneho
jeevan nahi bandhan kar(o)
aatishaya shuva kar(o)...

Here all the resources of happiness are very easily available.
The life is not bound. It is extremely pleasurable and auspicious.

Raajgriham va kutajam deenam
saghana tharu thale chaaya shayanam
Uapdhaaneeyam kaant bhuja aayati tarhi

Be it a palace or a humble hut, after lying beneath a dense shady tree and having a pillow of my husband's arms I fall asleep deeply.

Nice effort. But without knowing Sanskrit, one cannot feel the emotion in it. When Kamban says something, one has to be real Tamil scholar to see how is weaving the meaning with colorful yet enjoyable words. That is, if you are an artists or poet or scholar, you see things in a different way.
