Love all ....

I wish to mention about the octogenarian, Ms. June from New York, who is the God mother of one of my nephews, and her simple philosophy is 'LOVE ALL'.

Love will make anyone think good, speak good and be good!

Faults are thin where LOVE is thick! Very true............

Follower of Ms. June,
Raji Ram

Note: I clicked twice and blogged twice the above post! Still it is worth sharing again :thumb:

Everyone knows this! But often forget too ...

When half a cup of tea is given,

be happy that you got half a cup of tea;
don't ever feel that the cup is half empty!! :tea:

Tirukural

Chapter 79: Friendship

Kural 781

What is as difficult to secure as friendship?
And what greater security is there against foes?
Kural 782

With wise men, friendship waxes like the crescent moon;
with fools, it wanes as surely as the full moon must.
Kural 783

The bonds that good men share are like good bound books,
revealing new enchantments at each new encounter.
Kural 784

What matters in making friends is not merrymaking,
but a stern rebuking when friends go astray.
Kural 785

It is not constant meeting and companionship,
but shared sensibilities that confer the alliance of friendship.
Kural 786

A smiling face is no sure sign of friendship.
Friendship is found deep within a smiling heart.
Kural 787

To divert a man from wrong, direct him toward right
and share his sorrow in misfortune is comradeship.
Kural 788

As swiftly as the hand moves to seize a slipping garment,
friendship acts to assuage a friend's distress.

I always thought that Education was supposed to refine people.

Aging caused people to mellow down and become broad minded and all

embracing citizens of the world.

I was wrong.
:frusty:

Education can become an additional instrument to control, threaten, punish and

tarnish the images of well established good persons!
:lie:

There is no limit to which some persons can stoop to conquer!
The motto continues to be 'Vanquish or Banish!':whoo:

Riddles in real life!

Why do people kiss and make up?

So that they will get a fresh chance to plant a fresh kick on the

unsuspecting victim-
at the least expected moment! :whip:

Riddles in real life?

What do we do when persons in their second childhood misbehave? :blabla:

The same thing we do with the real kids...
:baby:

Put them out of circulation temporarily.
:tape2:

It is far easier in the case of real kids since

all we have to do is to tell them to "Stand up on the bench"

Riddles in life!

Anger...A weak man's imitation of strength. :yell:

Patience...The strength of a peaceful man

(often mistaken to be a weakness)!
:crutch:

To remain patient under provocation, a person needs thousand times

the strength of character that the other man needs to get angry!

Weep and you weep alone;

For the sad old earth must borrow its mirth,

Ever heard of these words,

"With friends like these who needs enemies?" :thumb:

An equation:

Mathematical equations will be of these types:
A+B=C or
A-B=C or
A+B>C or
A+B<C or
AxB=C or
A/B=C!
Chemical equations will be of these types.
A+B=>C+D.
A+B<=> C+D etc
I am yet to see an equation with = as well as => not to talk about > signs!

On the fingers that hand out roses to others,

the fragrance of the rose lingers on!

The motto behind giving something should always be

The Joy of Giving!

The motto behind helping anyone should always be

The Joy of helping!

Life is too complicated to be translated into plain Arithmetic!

It doesn't involve just numbers, to enable us to do such a thing.

Many other subtle factors, feelings and emotions accompany an action!

How can anyone convert or reduce them to mere numbers? :noidea:

Man IS born free. But he is in chains everywhere!:help:

The expression "with no strings attached" is very much similar to our

:help:

:playball:

Siganeswarie!

Your enthusiasm to post in each and every thread is not bad at all!

But, will you please try to write flawless language?
The language is :whip: -ed by you and makes us :scared:

Take care while :typing:

No need to find fault with the new "B"s attempts. :nono:

She 'defies grammar', all 'punctuations' including 'full stop' and 'capital letters'.

It is only "Get lost Grammar. Welcome new style posts" but in English this time.

We should applaud her brave new attempts... that too in a foreign

language! :clap2:

We must welcome with both arms outstretched! :welcome:

Remember "What is true of a goose is true of a gander" too!

Can it be true that...

No obstacle in life is too high to jump over and
too low to cross under, at the same time?

the wisest man can answer.

Ref: post # 139

I never said it is a mathematical or chemical equation!!

If the symbols are objected by the genius, then let me put it this way:

If :peace: > :frusty: then, life will be happy

If :frusty: > :peace: then, life will be unhappy!

Any fool, any tyrant can make men and women weep.

But it takes genius to make them laugh.
