Former Finance Minister P Chidambaram said that someone from Nehru-Gandhi family will lead Congress Party.

But, this statement was ruled out by former Minister G K Vasan. He said that no party worker from Kashmir to Kanyakumari would accept anyone from outside the first family to head the party.
