You are right, but i doubt whether Indian Girls would start smoking and drinking like westerners although stray cases are reported from time to time.

That is the next step, PJ ji. If you see the psychology, it is not so much of the comfort value that these bikini-clad women go for, it is rather for the satisfaction that they are projecting themselves as full-fledged Westerners.

Even here in US, most Swim instructors who spend 8 hrs a day at the pool wear 1-piece only. It is only those who want to feel sexy and sensational at the beach who wear bikini.
