August 4, 2013 is an interesting date.


Being the first Sunday of August, the youth is busy celebrating Friendship Day.


Interestingly, the day also marks the 84th birth anniversary of Kishore Kumar - the man who gave his voice to some of the sweetest Hindi songs on friendship - Diye Jalte Hain, Phool Khilte Hain, Badi Mushkil Se Magar Duniya Me Dost Milte Hain.


The song featured in starring Amitabh Bachchan, Rajesh Khanna-starrer Namak Haram (1973).

I like this song lots..in fact I liked the movie so much that I have decided to keep the remainder part of the tickets with me!
In fact I was one of those who was laughing most in the Blore cinema cos I understood all the Tamil lines which others might not have fully understood.

I do not want to be a lurker, I am a member but for some unknown reasons the moderator does not want my comments and he decided not to post my comments. This happened four times. I did not write anything obscene or critical or something in bad taste. He/she did not give me any reasons also. So, I was made a lurker. May be some more are lurkers like me.
