Oh.Yes I love Khayyam's Music, Aye Dil E Nadan is a beautiful song. Khayyam Saab mixes classical hindustani ragas with modern tunes. His another song "Khabi Khabi Mere Dil me khayaal aathi.." by Mukesh is also a good one.

Of Course, my favorite singer till date is Kundan Lal Saigal. I have written a brief account about this genius and posted in the Blog section of Tamil Brahmins today. I am not sure the present generation knew about this great singer.

Dear Mr.Ravi,

Songs of Chalti Ka Naam Gaadi... superb collection. The way the song opens in "ek ladki bheegi" with SDBurman tinkling the small screws and creating music,,, one immidiately falls in love with the antics of Kishore Da. "Panch Rupaiya Barah Anna" takes us to some other world of Kishore Antics.. That movie is one of the top 10's in my collection. Cheers -you also seem to like that.
