just the other day, i read, that law and order is breaking down in mayawati's U.P. apparently in rural U.P. businessmen have no choice but pay protection money.
now, it has come to notice, that the journalist, Jyotirmoy Dey was killed by dawood mafia.
recently, i saw the tamil movie Ko. i found it very fascinating, in that a tamil movie could, and was made, around the TV broadcasting industry.
true enough, there is ambition involved, but the amount of danger, is to be believed. to publish any investigative story in TV today, in india, is fraught with danger.
hope, however, ambitious young folks still stick with it, and continue their investigative zeal.
