I'm a Tamil Brahmin boy about to get married to a North Indian Brahmin girl. Both sets of parents have agreed, but there is a lot of confusion in fixing the wedding dates. My parents consulted our ancestral vaathiyar and were only able to identify November 24th and April 4th as auspicious days for the wedding. For the dates proposed by the girl's side, they were ruled out because of a lack of lagnam. But I'm not able to explain this fact to my would be or their parents and they are feeling we are putting pressure by only identifying 2 dates. On the other hand my parents are getting impatient if I ask clarifying questions. Can the members of the respected community help me with understanding how wedding dates are calculated and if there any available dates in the month of February and March of 2024?

Groom - Bharani, Mesha rasi
