Failured marriages (Intercast Marriages) - Lover Marriages

Status
Not open for further replies.
I am saying Maximum Lover marriages are failured ,Following are the points

1 Since Non bramins will cook non Veg daily . maximum of the bramin girls and guyes wont file.
2 Because of the Traditional Approaches
3. As we may be aware that NB people are always targeting bramin people.. and scolding bramin people for simple reasons
4 NB are always trying to capture the things from Bramins..

Note: If we start pratcising our culture diffnately our people never go for meat food(that is dead body),taking alchohal(dirty water in the wash room)

Sorry for my words if any of the brahmin people those who are taking the note.

Well said my friend :) Most of the Love marriages are failure ones. out of 100, 5 may be successful and rest all are failures. More over the life of the children will become a big question mark in the society and the society will get crumbled in all ways. Infact all marriages will be successful only if there is a sacrifice behind that. In case of love marriage the sacrifice is a big thing which is our culture and society, thats the reason for failure.

If we have love marriage within the community all these would be solved.

Parents should encourage their children to find their partners within the community.

I think it is because the parents try to exercise too much control as to who should be the partner for their child, there is rebellion and needless consequences.

Parents! Please loosen up!!

Ramma
This is perfectly correct, All of our god are same and practising the same culture. Their wont be any big difference.Instead of marriying NB if we go for Marriage with NI bramins or Middle bramins we can get to know other side bramin culture too, Their is nothing wrong on that..

Dear Sriniranga,
Instead of marriying NB if we go for Marriage with NI bramins or Middle bramins we can get to know other side bramin culture too, Their is nothing wrong on that..

I agree, however what language would they be talking at home? Why don't we start encouraging the parents (who most likely are looking for status) to leave it to their children if they can marry within Tamil Brahmin community. In my opinion this horoscope matching is a fraud for they ignore it if everything else is OK and resort to it when not! Also as long as they are Brahmins no one should discriminate on being an Iyer, Iyengar or Madhwa. Thirdly if the children like each other the economics (status) should not count. They will build up the status in their own time.

Parents! Encourage your children on their spiritual side! This alone will last.

The children know how to make their own material side. கட்டிக் குடுத்த சோரும் சொல்லிக்குடுத்த வார்தையும் எவ்வளவு நாள் தாங்கும்?

Comunication is english, I remember one of my neighbour son is tamil iyengar and his father selected his distance relation(Telegu Iyengar) Telegu Bramin. Their kids got married, their common language is english, Now i am finding that guy is strong in English communication while compared with before marriage. One difficult for them is people can able to know about their talks..

Why we should leave our culture, why we have to make our dignity down like that girls (vijay public show program). I dont know what makes the girls or boys attraction towards NB guyes or Nb girls.I dont know how parents are appreciating this type of kids in the name of socialisation.

Note: That guy dont know single telegu word and girl dont know single tamil word

A better solution, in my opinion would be..

Dear Sri Ramaa,

I don't think your solution is appropriate to prevent " Love Marriages " between communities , if at all it needs to be !

Although so much has been said about infatuation , juvenile love etc etc in this forum , it's simple - LOVE JUST HAPPENS ! , you can get admired to a person of the opposite sex , become friendly and get into the affair , so easily ! and whenever it happens , you don't realise if you are going to speak in English or Spanish for the rest of your lives ( Sriniranga's quote !)

Also in this wonderful world where you have more of disharmony and unwarranted grudge , why spoil a couple who have found sync b/w themselves !

Do i sense a fear of non-availability of girls from our community as they are taken away by the NB boys! i feel if our guys should have the capability to impress the gals in a better way and beat the NB guys in their strengths -
Nothing is Impossible

If we have love marriage within the community all these would be solved.

Parents should encourage their children to find their partners within the community.

Sure Vijisesh, but you have overlooked the 95% failure rate! As you know most of these happen due to 'access' to each other. That is where I said that our community should loosen up!

May I quote two versa from Bhagavat Geetha?

DhyaayathO Vishyaan pumsa: sangasthEshoopajaayathE |
Sangaath samngyaayathE kaama: kaamaath krOdhObhijaayathE ||
2.62

KrOdhaadhbhavathi sammOha: sammOhaath smrithivibrama: |
smruthi bramsaadh bhuddhinaaso buddhinaasaath praNasyati || 2.63

Pumsah, in the case of a person; dhyayatah, who dwells on, thinks of; visayan, the objects, the specialities [Specialities: The charms imagined in them.] of the objects such as sound etc.; upajayate, there arises; sangah, attachment, fondness, love; tesu, for them, for those objects. Sangat, from attachment, from love; sanjayate, grows; kamah, hankering, thirst. When that is obstructed from any quarter, kamat, from hankering; abhijayate, springs; krodhah, anger. Krodhat, from anger; bhavati, follows; sammohah, delusion, absence of discrimination with regard to what should or should not be done. For, an angry man, becoming deluded, abuses even a teacher. Sammohat, from delusion; (comes) smrti-vibhramah, failure of memory originating from the impressions acquired from the instructions of the scriptures and teachers. When there is an occasion for memory to rise, it does not occur. Smrti-bhramsat, from that failure of memory; (results) buddhi-nasah, loss of understanding. The unfitness of the mind to discriminate between what should or should not be done is called loss of understanding. Buddhi-nasat, from the loss of understanding; pranasyati, he perishes. Indeed, a man continues tobe himself so long as his mind remains fit to distinguish between what he ought to and ought not do. When it becomes unfit, a man is verily ruined. Therefore, when his internal organ, his understanding, is destroyed, a man is ruined, i.e. he becomes unfit for the human Goal. Thinking of objects has been said to be the root of all evils. After that, this which is the cause of Liberation is being now stated: [If even the memory of objects be a source of evil, then their enjoyment is more so. Hence, a sannyasin seeking Liberation cannot avoid this evil, since he has to move about for food which is necessary for the maintenance of his body. The present verse is an answer to this apprehension.]

Above all Vijisesh, the parents should be inculcating some spiritual instructions from the beginning of one's childhood. This would be ingrained and becomes a guide when the child becomes a man.

Vipareetham takes place when parents have abandoned their duty. Mahaa paapam.

I hope I have been of help!

Dear Vijisesh,

The translation was for both the stanzas so I cut out the repetition.

The translation is also from the commentary of Sankaracharya so you can understand the meaning elaborated.

failed marriages

In the case of arranged marriages, the parents make a detailed enquiry
about the family covering all the aspects. If the horoscopes are correctly
studied, it would throw light on the bride's ( bridegroom's) character,
longevity and other relevant factors that would contribute to happy
married life. Save some instances here and there, arranged marriages
are normally successful. This aspect is missing in the case of love marriages.
