CHINA Earthquake http://www.theglobeandmail.com/servlet/story/LAC.20080513.CHINA13/TPStory/TPInternational/Asia/

As you might have read hundreds of thousands of people have lost their livelihood in these disasters. I would request all of us should donate generously to these disasters. Every little bit will help.

Here in the US we donate through our employers who match our donations dollar for dollar. I hope the MNCs in India do the same. If not, I am sure the local chapter of Red Cross will accept the donations.

I hope as a community we can all come together to provide succor to those in need.

For those who wonder whether to donate to Burma since the Burmese government is creating hurdles in allowing aid to reach the people, let us do our part and leave it to god to handle the rest.

Thanks
Ramki

Our region is being devastated by natural calamities in the last few years. The worst earthquake in Gujarat followed by the tsunami and then the earth quake in Kashmir. Now the cyclone that hit Burma and the earthquake in China. Hope the almightly would turn to be mercyful.
