apparently, sponsored by PETA, there is a race to come up with lab produced chicken flavoured stuff (cannot call it meat as it has no animal origins) - the edible, feels like chicken, tastes like chicken, can be made to look like chicken. but the stuff is
artificial. lab produced.
since it is sponsored by PETA (people for ethical treatment of animals), the end result,would be final doing away of killing animals for food.
some of us who now secretly patronize the 'military or chettinad' messes of chennai, can now openly flaunt our taste, and satisfy our palate, with consuming the new fangled comestibles, for which i still do not have a name.

hopefully, i do not think the starting point of this, viz live cells, should be a problem with us. for today, we do take in many many medical products and injections, which are initiated, many from even human cells or animal cells. including insulin?
