The Divine Life Society is a Hindu Spiritual Organisation and an ashram, established in 1934 and located in the Tapovan area of Rishikesh in Uttarakhand state . It has branches all over the world . Divine Life is a concept that attempts to cultivate divine virtues, selfless service, courage, generosity , mercy and self control. This can be achieved through Daily Spiritual Practice, Super conscious meditation, contemplation of god within self. The society publishes many books on Hinduism and its religious practices and conduct many short duration programmes on yoga and meditation at its ashram in Rishikesh.
