Age demography of this forum

Namaskaram all!

I'm new to this forum here, and it is quite interesting to see all the discussions.

Being a part of a Tamil Brahmin family and born and brought up in an urban environment (non-Chennai), I have often reflected upon Tamil Brahmins as a community. It is true that the Tambrahm community is not really consolidated, unlike many other communities in India and historically too, our community has faced its share of challenges — from being stereotyped to being targeted socially and politically.

Among the younger generation, I feel this even more strongly — many of us grow up in different cities, move away for studies or work, and often don’t really get a chance to connect deeply with others from a similar background. At the same time, I feel there’s a lot of scope for us to come together

I was wondering if there are any Tam Brahm (18-30), youth folks here, here to connect with and take this idea forward. The vision is not just casual networking, but to explore how we as a community can:
  • Build meaningful bonds grounded in shared culture
  • Understand what traditions and cultures mean for youth
  • Talk and work on practical problems faced by our community today
  • Build resilience and unity in the face of the prejudices

Do drop a message down if you are interested, and we can connect.

Thanks,

Not too sure how many 18 - 30 yr olds actively participate here.
They could be silent members.
Most of the active members are not in the 18-30 yrs range.
