the mismanagement has probably been going on for years. it takes a tragedy with significant human toll, to bring it to light, and some hurried remedifications, ..., before we ease back to our old practices. i think.

When it is government there is hue and cry. Does members know many big Companies including MNCs give subsidised mid-day stuff called meals. Most staffers shun them. Though the top level Management is not involved in this, the enthusiastic subordinates glorify themselves to earn a better name with the higherups. Of course, they have medical facilities whereas the poor public school pupils have none. There is no periodic check about any thing - health and hygiene is pushed into paathaalam.​ There is another thing. When such tragedies occur how they occur in chains; there was one in TN and now Buldhana (MH).
