We are delighted to invite you to a cultural travel experience - one that values stories as much as destinations. Curated by a media professional with 14+ years of experience and a heritage educator with over 15 years of experience, "குருவும் திருவும் | The Legacy of Tamil Scholars" is a 2-D 2-N immersive group trip. We will travel through 4 towns - Chidambaram, Sirkazhi, Thirunaaraiyur, Veeranarayanapuram (Kaatumannarkovil) and Veeranam Lake, following the lives of the scholars who safeguarded Tamil's sacred literary traditions including Thevaram, Thirumurai, Divya Prabandham, etc.
The dates of this group trip are August 21, 22, 23 (we start on Friday 7 AM from Chennai and return back by Sunday evening).
The trip is curated with heritage walks, engaging storytelling sessions, temple explorations, reflective conversations, a mandala art experience by the lake, and stargazing. This is an opportunity to experience these places beyond sightseeing and discover the stories that shape them.
