A woman is defined as "A person whom a man can neither live with nor without!"
I think some men also qualify to be defined thus.

Long ago in a lecture during my College days I have heard similar observation, as under.
" A man requires a woman like salt in food, neither more nor less". Again the
famous feminist-existentialist Simone de Beauvoir in her book "Second Sex" accepts that "When woman is ‘the same’ as her male, life will lose its salt and spice."

Combining the observations can I safely state that
A woman = the salt in the food (adding taste to the food / life)
A man = the spice in the food (adding flavor and fragrance to the site / house)???

My thanks to R RR and VR (all Rs!). Interesting answers to the questions I raised. More interesting is the fact that only women have chosen to answer. As usual, no two women agree in totality:loco:.

I feel this thread can be closed since the initiator has mentioned that he would not participate anymore in discussion (and he maintains his promise!). It is of course the decision from the moderator to close this thread.

Glad that you found our answers interesting! Yes... we can answer any type of Qs and that too in different ways! :thumb:

When the thread has many twists and has so many likes, why to close it? Again why?? (Trying to justify the heading!)

the questions are NOT the currency or capital of the nations,
that we should all give the SAME answer.

Those of us who have watched these threads closely wouldnt agree with you ma'am.
As the saying goes - in everything successful, there is a woman behind it, here too I guess it was true :) May be there were two
