We were brought up on a staple diet of "Trigonometry by S.L.Loney", "Mensuration by Hall & Stevens", "Algebra by K.P.Basu", "Grammer by Wren & Martin", "English Structure by W.Stannard Allen" , "Engineering Mathematics by Toft & McKay", "Physics by Resnick & Halliday", "Electromagnetics by Krauss", "Thermodynamics by Van Vylen", "Organic Chemistry by Morrison & Boyd" and so on and so forth.......

A recent visit to prominent bookstore was shocking. All these classics were missing from the shelves.

Current generation of school & college students do not refer to these classics. Many have not even heard of them.

Eita ki hoye gache, dada? (Whatever happened to them, bro?)

Did you turn around ?

If you had turned around, you would have found hard bound copies of "Suggested Answers to Questions which appeared in Years............"

This is the generation of Fast food & 'Ready to Eat' my dear sir, who wants to read pages & pages

For the current generation it is all about KISS - Keep It Simple, Stupid.
