Dear TVK Sir,

Thanks for posting this song. I have been watching Ms. Kalpana for a few years and her singing always has been superb!

Now she has progressed so well that she could be called the best female singer in India.

This performance is mind-blowing, for sure. :thumb:

The composer of this complicated piece is the famous Sri. Sharath. (one of the judges of Idea star singer, Asianet)

Here is the composer himself singing:
BHAAVAYAAMI..Composed & Sung by Sharath

She must have done "Asura Saadhagam" to give such a perfomance...

Yes, TVK Sir! Sri. Sharath always composes very complicated songs and
one needs lot of practice to sing them perfectly! Ms. Kalpana did it! :clap2:

P.S: You might know that Sri. Sharath is a disciple of Sri. Balamuralikrishna. :)

Here is a Hindu Article giving more details Touch of classicism - The Hindu

I heard a glimpse of mOhanam and that was the reason I searched the net to learn more about the song. According to the compoer, he used a mixture of pantuvarAli, mOhanam and sudha dhanyAsi.

To me I heard it(the song) as a RTP, with a small rAgA AlapnA, short tAnam and a big palalvi piece !
