Can some help me as how to post an audio file here .the same is in my desktop
currenty i have one opus audio file which says opens wih windw media player [ i checked these two factors in properties ]
i have requested the admn head, any way
There could many such types of audio. i am unable to attach as a do a document
i am not tech normal even my skill to handle these types of challenges is very small
if some one helps me would request step by step

0) If the audio file is too large, you can use audacity ( https://www.audacityteam.org/ )to cut them into small pieces and upload them (People may not have the patience to listen to an audio lasting for hours)

I do this from Android Phone. I can do from my smart PC which is Android. The conventional PC with Widows may require have to syn. with google drive. I operate on Android and not on window PCs

From Google Drive you can do this -Video -Pdf - Jpg etc easily I am doing that .

As someone said you can use audacity or other Video/audio editing tools to cut it up. But if you know the source (Youtube or FB or audio sites) you can provide just the link so that it will stream on users' system. What I do is if I have to send an large audio file to a group I make a video file, merging an audio and a static image and upload it on Youtube with an "unlisted" option (if it is meant for small restricted audience) or "Public" option and then send the link to the audience. Youtube is the best way to track yr views and all yr publications.

Use an online audio converter site to convert to mp3 format.

My posting of a musical file seems to have opened a Pandora box ! ( ?கணறு.வெட்ட ...) One by one new facts not known to me are emerging - artist then the author and the blog!

I don't remember where I got the file and when it was saved in drive. I am doing அகழ்வாராய்ச்சி - in my மூளை -

I could find no clue from the file saved in the drive . I am unable to edit the file to add the artist name either! A challenge that is frustrating!

Close to google drive icon is google play music. I think I must have saved or uploaded the file from here - I have this music file in play music with a clue on the source in the folder - downloaded from whats app. It leads to my what app. Unfortunate that I have erased all old chats there!.I have hit the wall and no further.

Nice that you sent me the link of the blog created by your family A great efferts of tributes to your grand father!

Jambu vaguely remembers of one musicologist by name Ramanathan who was living in Triplicane - Did your Guru lived in Triplicane? Jambu was in Triplicane till he finished his graduation! He recollects லலிதா பாட்டு school ( Saraswathi gana vidyalaya - தோப்பு.தெரு Triplicane) Ms. Lalitha Ms. Renganayaki as well!

I am not sure if your problem is sorted out or not. I have seen many suggestions. Here are my views
1)Google drive- I have been keeping my photos, videos, docs etc in Google drive and it is good. The problem is it gives you only 15GB of data. So you may run out of space if you are using your other items (photos, docs etc that are not shareable. Still if you are using google drive create a shareable folder and provide who you want to share with (their email ids (gmail on non-gmail). Simply put yr files here and they will get the mails and they can use it. You can put the link here in this forum and all members who want to download/ listen can do that.
2) second option i follow is I have a YT channel where all my videos are there in "Public/ Unlisted and Private" claasification. I share links if it unlisted and public videos can be seen by people just like that. In yr case if the music is not copyrighted make a simple video with a still image (gods or yr image etc) and upload it as a unlisted video and share the link here. This wasy you will get unlimited storage. See my Youtube channel here "https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC-iV8ydkmvpwD2QWuFhgEnw?view_as=subscriber" to get an idea. U can use free tools on intenet to do that if you have the time.
3) You can upload it some music sites and provide the links.
For all 3, u don't have to split yr file using complicated tools. Just upload and send the link or paste the link in this forum. SOme work is required only for YT.
