Visit to a temple after visiting a relative house for Mourning

My "chittappa" (mother's sister's husband) passed away at Varanasi on 03.02.2017. From Bangalore, I am visiting his family at Varanasi this Sunday for condolences. I have no 'Teettu' So please advise whether I am permitted to visit Kashi Viswanath Temple on the next day ie. on Monday, after meeting the relatives of the deceased on Sunday. I am returning to Bangalore on Monday evening only, staying over night in a hotel at Varanasi. Thank you
