Vishnu stuti - what is ganapati dhyanam..?

Vishnu, who is dark in color, holds/bears the white speckled Universe's expanse. He reflects the energy/consciousness/shiva differently in different matter forms/beings(jana), creating them and the entire Universe.

Since he has no color of his own (dark), but reflects, he is called moon-colored (sasi-varnam). He evolves the Universe with four arms (sattva/conch, rajas/wheel, tamas/mace, nirguna/lotus).

All our disturbances quieten, when we meditate on Vishnu as we realize his reflecting and protecting nature. When Lord Janardhana is invoked in our heart, our mind quietens, we 'work' to overcome any obstacle says Skanda purana (1.63.62)

Ganapati is the Lord of all work. Ganapati dhyAnam is the meditation to focus on our work. Hence the sloka sukla ambara dharam that invokes Vishnu's face to quieten our disturbances and help us focus on work is called Ganapati dhyAnam.

Vishnu divides into four (manas, buddhi, ahamkara, cittam), has four 'atma' (sarvajna, ekibhuta prajna, antah-prajna, bahis-prajna). Thus he rules all worlds.

Lord of births (prajapati) is invoked in marriage, chakra-holder in war, who expanded across 3 lokas in space, exciter (ardana) while taking food, Vishnu, the ultimate medicine of all while taking medicine, Narayana, the puruSa, the manas-sAksi, while on death-bed.

Meditate on who holds the Sri in his chest while in love, On Govinda who removes negativities/loss while in bad dreams, Madhusudana who vanquishes Madhu/inertness while facing difficulties, on Varaha who lifted earth out of water while in water, on Rama who scaled mountains to search for Sita while in mountain, on mAdhava, husband of Sri at all times.
