What procedure should be followed for buying vigrahams ( Small figurines in silver, brass) and installing them in the nitya poojai? Can the installation be done by women?

Vigrahas made of Silver, Panchaloga, Spadiga, Karungali Wood and so on are precious.

There is nothing about Brass.Above all Mentally and Physically pure hearted need not bother.

Even I am seeing Varalakshmi Amman Face made of Silver are maintained in Pooja Rooms by our elderly ladies.

bhavana, I think you should approach your acharya or a trusted temple priest, or an elder in your family to get clarified.

In this profession We used to come across Experienced Silphis,Acharyas,Priests and many experts.We heard Their Valuable advises alsut of that experience I guided her and never misguided her.
