Hi Valli,

Thank you for posting. I just saw it. It is really funny. The cockatoo looks hilarious getting soo angry!!
 
Nice one Valli. You shd have mentioned its gender. Anyways, for the public - that's a male (it has a black beak), not a female. It is obviously imitating some member of the house. Females can be worse and we know it (it can put on a pretence..).

Dear Happy Hindu,

That means You Tube Info was wrong because it showed name of bird as Rosie.
Thank you for letting us know difference between male and female Cockatoo.
I have to say you are sharp and well informed.

I am glad, we don't have a cockatoo at home. It would have imitated our outbursts!

Cockatoo is a very touchy bird. It can get very angry. Once I seriously considered buying one; one of my workmates talked me out of it.. " why do you want to get a cockatoo? It never dies! it lives to be hundred; it will out live you! it also imitates the family members! ".. that was discouraging enough for me.
