This year Varalakshmi Vratham and my Father's Srardham are falling on same day (24/8/2018). So what should we do?
We are considering the following options:
1. Do regular Srardham with Omam on 24/8 and postpone Varalakshmi Vratham to a subsequent Friday (it has to be 14/9 as we are out of town and not in a position to do the Vratham on 31/8 and 7/9)
2. Do regular Srardham with Omam on 24/8 and after completing the Srardham, do the Vratham in the evening on 24/8 itself
3. Do Hiranya Srardham (by giving plantains and rice) and subsequently do Varalakshmi Vratham on 24/8 morning
Can we choose any of the above 3 options? Are ther any other options? Please guide.
