Mulayam withdraws suspension of Akhilesh, Ram Gopal

JUST IN: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav and party leader Ram Gopal Yadav are back in Samajwadi Party after a day of suspension.
"With Netaji's (Mulayam Singh Yadav's) order, the suspension of Akhilesh Yadav and Ram Gopal Yadav has been stopped immediately," UP SP chief Shivpal Yadav said.
The decision was taken after Akhilesh, Shivpal and Mulayam met at the the SP chief's residence.

It was like sort of an anti climax. Media tried very hard to make something big out of it but finally ended up as `Khoda pahad nikala chooyia' type of a thing. Now there is a talk in the media that this issue was only blown up to give the younger Yadav more publicity and a face lift just before forth coming UP elections

The son has trumped his father!
The cycle symbol belongs to the Akhilesh-led Samajwadi Party, said the Election Commission.
Both factions of the Samajwadi Party headed by Mulayam Singh Yadav and his son and Uttar Pradesh chief minister Akhilesh Yadav had approached the Election Commission for control over the party's election symbol 'bicycle'.
The commission had told both the sides that a judgment will be delivered before the process of filing nominations for the phase one of Uttar Pradesh assembly elections will begin on January 17.
Akhilesh camp had argued that since the numbers are stacked in favour of the CM, the symbol should go to him.
