You are very correct Sir! But if we want to learn to sing the song, we NEED correct lyrics! :)

I am reminded of the maestro Chembai Vaidhyanatha Bhavathar who says to people who comment about his wrong diction of some

Telugu words: "பாட்டெல்லாம் வெறும் கோட் ஹாங்கர் மாதிரித்தான்! எங்க சங்கீதம்தான் அதிலே மாட்டற அழகான கோட்!"

Now a lo..........ng and lovely AbEri RTP for you, by Sri. L. Shankar. This is one of my favorites!! Please listen and enjoy!! :couch2:

nice to listen to l.shankar.
regarding the main portion ,my point is font lyrics are not required for those listenin music for relaxation.as you said it is for musicianso that they did not hurt the feeling of the listeners who know the language.we could see many mistake in our own tamil song siners while making allapani by wronly spilting the sentences. yesudas used to pronounce thiru as theru in his songs.
cheers,

1. The mandolin in the picture has eight strings. They are set as 4 pairs, each pair giving the same note.

The famous brothers play on six stringed mandolins, with a few more modifications.

2. Please see the following link:

Meera Jasmine enters wedlock with Mandolin Rajesh

Are they married or yet to tie the knots? :noidea:

Dear Ozone Sir,

Why such a harsh comment? Smt NSM lacks modulation in her voice.

But she is a sweet voiced,
untiring singer, IMHO! :thumb: (H = Honest)

This was the video of Ganesh and Kumaresh I listened a while ago (Markazhi Mahotsavam 2007?) - I was reminded of this by my sister today.

This is shambu natanam in Raaga Malika by Ganesh and Kumaresh

The lyrics have an interesting story - Here is the link to lyrics (in Sanskrit) and the story:
