I knew a Sirpi and he created two 12" tall images of Lord Murugan and Meenakshi. He said that if the person is lucky and blessed, when he opens the eyes. So, we were present with one hit of a sharp tip he opened the eys. Oh my God, both statues were smiling. The same is found in this stature and the Silphi must have been blessed. What a smiling face of Perumal and no wonder all Gopies went after him. Most temple, they don't allow to phtograph (rather than taking and preserving), thus this one is there to bless all those who see this face of the Lord.
