I felt very sad after reading these news items recently.
1. The School Teachers are paid a pittance for the study materials needed for teaching the class. So they are spending from their own meagre salary to buy the supply.
2. The children now have the upper hand since physical punishment can not even be dreamt about. But that does NOT stop the kids from bullying, fighting, biting, punching and kicking the teachers.
THIS is adding injury to insult for all they go to these kids!
3. To supplement to income barely enough to cover the bare necessities of life, some of the teachers take up additional jobs as Uber drivers and Bartenders. They work had for a token salary and bear more insults and dangers due to the nature of those jobs.
4. So some smart and attractive teachers has found a novel way to earn a quick buck - free from insults and dangers (?!). THEY NOW GET SERVED instead of serving others. They have become the Sugar Babies for the stinking rich, old, till now unknown Sugar Daddys.
They can earn anything from 500 $ to 10,000 $ in a single day - depending upon the services they offer in addition to their good looks and their ability to bargain.
Is it not a shame that qualified teachers can't make a honest living with their education - but have to find other means like the non qualified women, to earn extra money to support their family?
