What is the normal eye pressure?
Eye pressure is measured in millimeters of mercury (mm Hg). Normal eye pressure ranges from 12-22 mm Hg, and eye pressure of greater than 22 mm Hg is considered higher than normal. When the IOP is higher than normal but the person does not show signs of glaucoma, this is referred to as ocular hypertension.

I would feel pain deep inside the eye balls and go the eye clinic. Apparently I used to have eye pressure ranging from 26 to 28 in both eyes.
But I was never told about the elevated values by the doctor!
(The value would be sincerely recorded in the file which has now become the size of a novel.)
I would be advised to undergo three more tests, The Field test, scan the corneal thickness and an Ophthalmoscopy.
These three tests would cost Rs 3000 + and I had to repeat them once in every 3 months.
One day since my doctor was absent I consulted a lady doctor working in the same clinic.
I asked her what they have found out - ever since I have been spending an average of 1000 Rs Per month - which is kept as the highly classified info I am not allowed to know.
Instead of getting angry with me for my guts, she was very pleased to explain to me using her laptop what they have found out and how all the three values are important to evaluate my existing condition.
The eye pressure has dropped dramatically after I have been on an eye drop for regular use (along with my refresh tear drops)!
IT WAS ONE DROP PER EYE ONCE IN A DAY - WHILE GOING TO BED. NOW I USE IT TWICE A DAY AT 12 HOURS' INTERVAL.
YESTERDAY THE EYE PRESSURE WAS AT THE BOTTOM IF THE RANGE AND THE CLINIC STAFF WERE MORE ELATED THAN ME BY THIS DRAMATIC CHANGE!
But I was never told about the elevated values by the doctor!

I have seen people shift to a new house - without packing anything properly.
Everything is made into bundles using bed sheets and transported.
They have manpower, as many bed sheets as needed and are LAZY!
Everybody can't perform this feat.
In fact one military mama boasted that he had shifted quarters three times without packing anything. Shows his power and manpower UNDER him and mami's power OVER him!

the parents of the girl were forced to vacate without much time
to retain what little honor they could muster, after the showdown.

HONEST MONEY CAN BE EARNED BY ANYONE.
I saw a brahmin mama walk briskly with about 250 grms of jasmine buds neatly stringed.
He quoted the price as Rs 20 for one cubit. No one sells flowers for less - even after the buds have opened fully, lost their fragrance and are about to wilt.
These were fresh and fully closed mature buds and can be kept in the fridge and used for 4 or 5 days.
He must have invested <30 to 50 Rs and will be able to sell the strong for anything > 250 Rs!
Even of the margin is 200 rupees a day, it will work out to rs 6000 p.m!!! Cool Isn't it???
Small wonder the flower vendors are able to give higher education to their children and also marry them off grandly.

I met the F.I.L of a person in function yesterday. He had covered his throat with a tiny piece of white cloth like a Jain covering his mouth.
He held something like torch to his chin whenever he spoke and the voice was eerie and metallic and produced goose pimple in me who was least expected to such voice - reminding me of a heavy trunk being dragged of a sandy surface!
He has had his vocal chords removed in a surgery. ( I did not want to know WHY?)
He has bought the artificial larynx which allows him to speak from Germany.
Man's determination to overcome all his problems and limitations forced on him by the cruel hands of Destiny and led a near normal life is what keeps him ticking and the inventions surging ahead!

How clever and smart he must be to produce so many varieties

All of them are in the slot 70 to 80 years of age.
One sister is a divorcee with no children.
The other sister is a widow and both her children are no more.
The brother has two daughters both planning to settle down in USA - where they were born.
These three wise people wasted 14+ years of their precious lives in fighting out for their share of a sprawling ancestral home worth several crores.
The man would not divide it equally and the women would take nothing else than an equal share.
The civil suit went on and on and on for a period equal to the vana vaasam of Rama!
One of the sensible lawyers took pity on the aged group and advised to go for an amicable settlement.
Finally they agreed to a settlement outside the court for 4:3:3 split.
Now the next bone of contention... the shares purchased by the father eons ago which have become huge money spinners now.
Again they want to go to the court!!!

the aadhaara sruthi in shadjam or panchamam in any octave.
But the Westerners sing with a wavy tone. I do not know the exact name.
My little JUJU is an expert in that kind of singing.
She supplies her own words and can sing for hours with her resonating loud, clear and sweet voice.
Though I do not know the name of this kind of singing style I can very well give you a wonderful example.
Those who can't but praise one's own God may replace the word 'He' with their ishta daivam and listen to this.
I am yet to find a more rhyming, a more moving and a more meaningful poetry!
