Think or sink!

OMG VR ji..I thought only Vijaykanth could make bullets bounce back!

VR Ji Zindabad!

Dear Renu!

It hardly matters to me whether people shout Zindabad or Murdabad!

Aren't you forgetting the style-cum-stunt hero

the evergreen Rajini Kanth the R.K of Kollywood???

Well let us combine the two great bullet repellents now!

V + R = V. R ( my current name in usage since 1970)

V+ R. K = V.R.K ( my maiden name in the reverse till 1970)

Either way there is no escape since

I have lived for decades with people

who belong to this special category of

"MunnAle pOnA muttum; pinnAle POna uthaikkum!" :thumb:

dear Sir,

It was YOU who suggested this in your post no 11569 as quoted below...

...I really wish people like you will perform your legitimate role in new india which calls for highly competent people feeling helpless in home environment taking interest in

society and give a lead. it can make a difference to lives of many younger people looking for guidance and support
....

I never suggested this even remotely! :)
VRji
You know between you ,me and RRji

she appears to be the youngest

she needs guidance and protection from all oldies in the forum.

it can make a difference

by the way do not take it seriously . I am joking only

RRji can keep getting puzzled what she posted earlier.lol

Dear Sir,
I tried to protect somebody once (?!)
and a very busy thread got closed! :(
I DO NOT want History to repeat itself. :nono:
People survive here ONLY because
they can take care of themselves.
I bet Smt. R.R.ji can take good care of herself.

A rose is a Rose by any name!
A rose will be a Rose by name!!
WHY this much fuss about whether
September 5th is Teachers' Day
or Guru Uthsav Day??? :noidea:
I bet the word GURU is known to everyone
including the Dadas, Didis, Dames and Dons.

I met the most humorous doctors ever known to me.
He will cure people by simply making them laugh-
provided they are of the same wavelength to :decision:
understand his subtle jokes and remarks.

The prescription given to my husband today is
"Write Sree Rama Jayam as may times as possible everyday!"

Medicines can be purchased and gulped down eagerly
- costlier the drug happier the person! :thumb:

But writing Sree Rama Jayam may be passed on to me!

read my thread on my school experiences with teachers started as a new thread today .

this will explain what I am today .

I am enjoying with a vengeance what I missed out as a school boy

When a troubled youngster entered his room
the first question which was flung at him was
"Udambu nallaa illiayaa manasu nalla illiayaa?"
He knew the connection between mental problems
and how the exhibit as physical problems!
He asked you-know-who whose suffers from anxiety syndrome
"kavalaip padaraththukku oNNum illaiyEnnu kavalaip padarELA?" :)

My wife with a frozen shoulder went to a specialist a top south indian doctor, and wanted to know if it could be cured through operation and surgery

he coolly said ' this is for meant for those who have money to waste and sportsmen

you are in no desperate hurry

do nothing . if you have extra money give it to some good charity. he also said it will become OK on its own . She was advised to meet him after a couple of months if it

does not get cured . she did not go to him again

I discovered a few years back that my heart misses a beat regularly in every cycle . One youngster medico doing a routine check at eye clinic told me

he was correct . when I consulted a heart specialist , he studied the reports and checked me and gave brilliant advise .

He said it has been there since your birth . you have lived sixty odd years , nothing has happened .

so simply forget about it and live your balance years

great advise and fully accepted

While my husband was paying the Water meter charges,
I sat on a chair and waited for him to finish his business.
A pretty young girl came and touched my feet in that waiting room.
I was unable to place her though I knew that I had seen her and spoken to her.
May be I would have recognized her easily - if I had seen her in the temple
where I had met her for the very first time.
She was the same SAtvic and serene D.I.L of my temple friend.
I had named her as Meenakshi and called her by that name.
She smiled and said," That is the name you have given me amma.
My mother named me as Shanmugapriya!"
Now I will never forget the real name or the nickname.
Who can forget Shanmugan and his priyamaana annai Meenakshi??? :)

Litlle Varun will go to a play school from Tuesday 2nd September.
He has got a lot of new dresses and is quite excited about school.
There the teachers allow the children to play with
the soil and water, in the open air under the blue sky.
They learn to appreciate the harmless four-out-of-five natural elements. :clap2:
They also need to carry 2 or 3 spare dresses to the school everyday! :)

He is a busy professor and she is busier doctor.
They have adopted a two year old boy of their own race.
A very wise decision indeed.
When they can't have (or do not want to have) a kid of their own,
the next best thing is to adopt one who is ready for play school.
Older children may not bond well with the new parents.
Younger children may need their diapers changed and keep them awake!
Anyway it is better than adopting a dog/ cat / bunny or any fancy animal!
Give a child a home and your love and they will give you immense happiness.

WHY do I see a girl with drooping boobs everywhere??? :frusty:

Is it ONLY me or does everyone see her before and after the lift!!!

All she has on is a black colored thing resembling an eye shade!!! chee! chee! :bolt:

All I ask is for is Intellectual companionship!

BUT people will deny even that to me.

So everything has gone back to NORMAL !!! :bored:

where are men with intellect ?

you are asking for the moon young lady

this forum may not be right place for intellect lol

but it has a lot of interesting people.

if you humour them ,they can relate rollicking stories.lol

adoption is a nice idea,

when my close iyer friend and wife could not have a kid , they adopted one very young

now the kid has grown as an iyer and getting married

now a DIL who comes into the family will teach them lesson of their lives.lol

Sir!
i had frozen shoulders and I could not lift my left hand at all!
Combing my hair, wearing a sarior even folding a sari became impossible.
The problem ran from my left thumb through the left wrist, and elbow to the left shulder. I have a darling physiotherapist - roughly my elder son's age-
who does not believe in aggressive treatments and surgeries.
He taught me a few simple exercises and as long as I do them regularly my shoulder, elbow, wrist and thumb cooperate with me. It hardly takes five minutes and involves a few stretches, pushes and arm lifts.
ONCE I was told by a brilliant cardiologist that I have two hearts.
I ran to Jipmer to get confirmed that I have ONLY one heart but it beats erratically.
While your heart misses a beat (may be every time you see your beautiful wife) mine does an extra beat (may be every time I see my tall broad man -with his arms akimbo - standing menacingly in my kingdom the kitchen and demanding something like hot water, tea or coffee!)
