Something funny happened on this Sunday.
Little Varun whenever asked this question "Who is your friend ?"
invariably relied "Juju" meaning his elder sister.
But this Sunday when he was asked this question he replied "Varun"
and touched himself to make the matter more clear.
I wondered how a child just 21 months old can convey Krishna's teaching that
"A man is his own friend and he is his own enemy" !
I thought until the real reason dawned on me.
What could that be???

Juju had attended her friend's birthday party arty:
wearing her favorite deep pink ready-to-wear-sari
(designed, stitched and presented by her creative chinna paatti)
She got a pirate's hat and sword in the birthday party as gifts.
So she was all excited and went on charging at everyone like
the kadga dhaariNi Durga maa in the battle field
wearing that cap and brandishing the air filled thick sword.
Varun must have doubted whether Juju was really his friend or :decision:

between us - the five paattis.
I am just paatti.
My elder sister is periya paatti.
Juju's favorite paatti is chinna paatti.
My youngest sister is paattik kutty!

I was right. My son's master came all the way
to hand over his silver gifts to the kutties.
He gave a silver tumbler for Tarun and
a Kubera deepam for Juju.
