My guru has told an incident when a 1000 volts was applied to a zero watts bulb.

Twelve of my threads have received five stars so far since
the marks awarded for the rating of threads is 600.

I DO NOT know the benefactors WHO had awarded those stars
in 11/12 of them till today.

No one came forward announcing it and expecting me
to remain eternally grateful to them.

I believe that a good deed must be done secretly or discreetly.

I myself have awarded those stars and never spoke about them -
except in one case where I had to tell it out to save an unpleasant situation from developing.

AND I KNOW the value of stars in this forum!!! :rofl:

They announce the arrival of certain characters :sing:

They announce the blind admiration some people have for some others

They are given hoping to slight some people in the eyes of the others.

The last and the latest category is the worst. :heh:

I would rather not talk about that.

I never pressurized my sons to secure the first rank. :nono:

I insisted that they should score good marks. :thumb:

For me marks counted more than the rank.

After all there will be only one first rank but there can be

any number of people scoring good marks.

Now in +2 the number of 100% scorers is increasing every year.

They are all good... not just the chap who stood first in the state.

My opinion continues even today.

Marks and views matter to me more than some biased awarding of stars and the

unpleasant consequences.

I salute to those unknown benefactors who decided to remain unknown :hail:

and unannounced - adding value to those crowns which they awarded to me.
