Chakras, in Hindumetaphysical tradition and other belief systems, are centres of Prāṇa, life force, or vital energy.
Chakras correspond to vital points in the physical body i.e. major plexuses of arteries, veins and nerves.
Texts and teachings present different numbers of chakras.
Their name derives from the Sanskrit word for "wheel" or "turning".
The concept of chakra features in tantric and yogic traditions of Hinduism and Buddhism.

Now here are my simple questions:-
1. how can we touch something which does not have a physical form but which we can feel /realize only by relentless practice?
2. How can that something - which can not even be seen or touched - be pulled out by surgery???
3. Prananic centers are not prostrate glands - which when swollen, need to be removed surgically in most old men.
4. If Prana is to be confused with or equated to the tangible physical body, than I prefer to remain silent.

Believe it or not, I have lived in these chakras and felt them.
They have given me many spectacular spirutual experiences involving
sights, sounds and out of body experiences.
My guru was afraid that I may decide not to come back to my body
and forbade me from pracicing these deep meditations.
He told me they are only for swaminis who have given up the world.
How else do you think I got the power to read the other people's mind even from a distance???
