15. கனியாத பக்தி.



“ஹரியும் சிவனும் ஒண்ணு ; இதை
அறியாதவன் வாயில் மண்ணு !”
என்று கூறுவார் முன்னோர்கள்;
என்றாலும் சிலர் கேட்பதில்லை.

கனியாத பக்தி உடைய ஒருவன்,
தனியாக சிவபிரானை மட்டுமே
கனிவோடு தொழுது வந்ததான்;
பணியான் வேறொரு கடவுளை.

ஒரு நாள் சிவனே நேரில் தோன்றி
“ஒன்றே தெய்வம் என்றறியாயோ?”
என்ற போதிலும் மீண்டும் அவன்
எந்தக் கடவுளையும் வணங்கவில்லை.

சங்கர நாராயணனாய் வந்தபோதும்,
சங்கரனை மட்டுமே வணங்கினான்;
ஹரியை விடுத்து விட்டான் அவன்;
ஹரனாலும் மாற்ற முடியவில்லை.

தீவிர பக்தியும், மாறாத வெறுப்பும்,
தூண்டிவிட்டது மற்றவர்களையும்!
“விஷ்ணு! விஷ்ணு!” என்ற நாமத்தை
வெறுப்பேற்ற வேண்டிக் கூறலாயினர்.

காதில் அப்பெயர் விழாமல் இருக்க,
காதில் இரண்டு மணிகளை அணிந்து,
காதுகளை ஆட்டிச் சப்தம் செய்தவன்,
'கண்டா கர்ணன்' எனப் பெயர் பெற்றான்.

கண்டா கர்ணனைப் போன்றே பல
கண்மூடித்தனமான வேறு பக்தர்களும்
இறைவனிடம் காட்டும் வினோத பக்தியில்,
வெறுப்பே விருப்பையும் விட அதிகம்!

All of us may be sailing in the same boat.

But some are loaded with clay/ lead/iron while
some others do not carry any dead weight.

Some are stripped to their koupeenam while
some others have their life jackets ON.

Poorva Janma kritam puNyam/ paapam
causes all these possible differences!!! :hail:
 
Who is the the real victim?

The ways Divine Destiny works
Can’t be understood by the jerks.

They throw a well aimed brick;
Or settle for a massive stick!

Their aim is, the head to break
Of the people they can’t take.

It should be a piece of cake,
Since the victim has to take,

The blow delivered by the Jake.
There is none to fight for his sake!

But he has a faith hard to shake,
And bears with a grin the ache!

Since his faith is not just a fake
There comes a minor earth quake!

Leaving him with riches hard to rake,
Causing his foes to crumble and slake.

The likes of him always feel at ease.
The others may never find any peace.
 
It is debatable whether a ParihAram really wipes out own sins?

But at least it is a form of acceptance that some mistake has been committed.

Is it not far better than posing and pretending to be pure and innocent?

13. பரிஹாரம்.



அழகிய நந்தவனத்தை உருவாக்கி,
அதைச் செழிப்பாக வளர்த்தான்;
அந்தணன் ஒருவன், தன் வேலை
ஆட்களின் கடின உழைப்பினாலே.

ஏமாந்த நேரம் தோட்டதினுள்ளே
புகுந்து விட்ட கறவைப் பசு ஒன்று,
மேய்ந்து சர்வ நாசமாக்கி விட்டது
பூந்தோட்டம் மொத்தத்தையுமே!

கோபத்தில் கண் மண் தெரியாமல்
கோரமாக அந்தணன் அடித்ததனால்,
விழுந்து சுருண்டு தன் இன்னுயிரை
இழந்து விட்டது அந்தப் பசு பாவம்!

பசுவைக் கொன்ற பாவம் தன் மேல்
படர்ந்த போதிலும் அந்த அந்தணன்,
பசுவைக் கொன்றது தன் கையே என்றும்,
கையின் தேவதை இந்திரனே என்றும்,

மொத்தப் பழியையும், பாவத்தையும்,
தத்தம் செய்து விட்டான் இந்திரனுக்கு.
தாத்தா வேடம் அணிந்து வந்த இந்திரன்
தள்ளாடியபடியே அவனிடம் சென்றான்.

” மிகவும் அழகிய பூந்தோட்டம்” எனத்
தள்ளாடும் தாத்தா புகழவே, அந்தணன்
“மிகவும் கடின முயற்சியின் பரிசு” எனத்
தன்னைத் தானே மெச்சிக் கொண்டான்.

“மரங்களும், செடிகளும்கூட அழகான
வரிசைகளில் அமைந்துள்ளனவே?”
“மரங்கள், செடிகளின் வரிசையும் கூட
வரை வகுத்துத் தந்தது நான் தானே”

‘பாதைகளும் நூல் பிடித்தாற்போல
பார்க்கவே அருமையாக உள்ளனவே!”
“பாதைகளும் கூட என் திட்டமே!” எனப்
பரவசமாகச் சொன்னான் அந்தணன்.

“வேறு ஆட்கள் செய்தவற்றுக்கெல்லாம்
பேரும் புகழும் நீ ஏற்றுக் கொள்வாய்.
பசுவைக் கொன்றுவிட்ட பழி மட்டும்
பாவம் அந்த இந்திரனையே சாருமா?

வெட்கித் தலை குனிந்த அந்தணன்
வெட்டிப் பேச்சுக்களை விட்டு விட்டு,
பசுவைக் கொன்ற தன் தோஷத்துக்குப்
பரிஹாரம் ஒன்றைத் தேட முயன்றான்.

The parents of Narra Sasikala, found murdered in her home along with her son, alleged that their son-in-law N. Hanumantha Rao must have been involved in the killing and was projecting the murders as a hate crime.

Retired teachers Sunkara Venkateswar Rao and Krishna Kumari, who stay at Tadigadapa in Vijayawada, alleged that Mr Hanumantha Rao had an affair with another woman and had been harassing Sasikala for five years.

Sasikala’s maternal uncle Kolli Prabhakar Rao said the murders did not fall into the pattern of hate crimes which he said happen on the spur of the moment and involved firearms. “No incident like this has happened in the USA. Who will kill a seven-year-old boy in this manner,” he said. He claimed that Hanumantha Rao had taken nearly Rs 1 crore as dowry.

"Contrary to some media reports, at this point there is no indication that this is a hate crime connected to the fact that the victims are of Indian origin," the statement said.

The slain woman's father, Sunkara Venkateswara Rao, a retired school teacher, claimed, "We strongly believe our daughter and grandson were murdered by Hanumantha Rao. My son-in-law has an extramarital relationship with another woman for the last few years and got rid of Sasikala and Anish.

So the prevailing hatred of the whites on the colored people comes in handy for

the 'loving husbands' to get rid of their family and shift the blame on to the others! :doh:

Note: a loving husband = a husband loving women other than his wife!

I know the varakatNam (dowry) torture stories of the Telugu people as first hand info! :(

14. ஈஸ்வரன்.



“உலகில் உள்ள பொருட்கள் அனைத்துமே
உண்மையில் ஈஸ்வரனின் ஸ்வரூபங்களே!”
உபதேசித்தார் பெரும் குரு நாதர் ஒருவர்;
உபதேசம் பெற்றான் அவருடைய சீடன்.

எல்லோரும் ஈஸ்வரர்களே என்பதால்
எல்லையில்லா மகிழ்ச்சியுடன் அவன்.
செல்லும்போது எதிரே வந்தான் - ஒரு
பொல்லாத யானை மேல் அமர்ந்த பாகன்.

“விலகுங்கள்! விலகுங்கள்!” என்று பாகன்
விலாப் புடைக்கக் கத்திய போதிலும்;
விலகவில்லை கொஞ்சமும் அந்தச் சீடன்!
விரும்பி யானையின் அருகிலேயே வந்தான்!

“நானும் ஈஸ்வரன், யானையும் ஈஸ்வரன்,
நான் ஏன் அஞ்சிப் பாதை விலக வேண்டும்?”
நடந்து வந்த யானை துதிக்கையால் தூக்கி
நாலு வட்டங்கள் சுழற்றி வீசிவிட்டுச் சென்றது!

நல்ல வேளையாக உயிர் போகவில்லை!
நல்ல காயங்களுடனே தப்பிவிட்டான்.
நடந்ததைத் தன் குருவிடம் சொல்லவே,
நகைக்கலானார் அவர் விழுந்து விழுந்து!

“யானையும் ஈஸ்வரன்தான்! அதுவும் சரி.
நீயும் ஈஸ்வரன்தான் ஒப்புக் கொள்கின்றேன்.
யானையின் மேல் அமர்ந்த இன்னொரு ஈஸ்வரன்
நீங்கிச் செல்லும்படிச்சொன்னது கேட்கவில்லையா ?”

சொற்களின் பொருளை அறிவதால் மட்டும்
சொல்லப்பட்ட கருத்துக்கள் புரிந்து விடாது.
கருத்தினைப் புரிந்து கொண்டால் மட்டுமே
கற்றதன் பயன் நமக்குத் தப்பாது கிடைக்கும்.
