Everyone was talking about this as they do about God.

But like God this too exists!!! :clap2:

Found! Hidden Ocean Locked Up Deep in Earth's Mantle

Deep within the Earth's rocky mantle lies oceans' worth of water locked up in a type of mineral called ringwoodite, new research shows. The results of the study will help scientists understand Earth's water cycle, and how plate tectonics moves water between the surface of the planet and interior reservoirs, researchers say. Scientists have long suspected that the mantle's so-called transition zone, which sits between the upper and lower mantle layers 255 to 410 miles (410 to 660 kilometers) below Earth's surface, could contain water trapped in rare minerals. To see if the transition zone really is a deep reservoir for water, researchers conducted experiments on water-rich ringwoodite, analyzed seismic waves travelling through the mantle beneath the United States, and studied numerical models.

  • [h=3]Solar Flares May Send 'Shockwave' To Earth On Friday The 13th[/h] The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration warned Wednesday that solar flares could send a "shockwave" to Earth on June 13 and briefly disrupt communications. NASA's Solar Dynamics Observatory data indicate that an X2.2 flare and an X1.5 flare occurred on June 10, followed by an X1.0 flare on June 11.

Will the long lasting mystery be solved now??? :noidea:

[h=3]'Hunt For The Super Predator' May Finally Solve That Bizarre Shark Mystery[/h] Eleven years ago, a 9-foot-long great white shark that was part of Australia's first large-scale tracking program was apparently devoured by a "mystery sea monster." Now, a documentary called the “Hunt for the Super Predator” is providing some answers to what may have happened to the shark. The film, from the Smithsonian Institution, draws upon a previous Australian documentary on the subject. Researchers, who had tagged the shark for a study on the animal’s behavioral patterns, found its tracking device washed up on shore four months after its disappearance.

[h=3]Vitamin D deficiency symptoms explained: the top 9 warning signs[/h] (NaturalNews) The importance of vitamin D is well known. As far back as the 1930s, doctors first recognized the link between a vitamin D deficiency and the skeletal disease called rickets. Rickets causes a softening of the bones and teeth. Even if someone's diet has adequate levels of calcium, without enough vitamin D to properly control calcium and phosphate levels in the blood stream, demineralization of the bones can take place.

Friday frying???:decision: Friday fright???

[h=3]Is the Earth going to be cooked on Friday the 13th?[/h] Photo: NASA/SDO/Goddard We’ve had solar flares before and nothing’s happened. Three major solar flares which have been on the sun’s surface for days could send a shockwave through Earth on Friday, knocking out mobile phone satellites (unlikely), breaking mirrors (not proven) and probably traveling under ladders (possible). NASA says the solar flares, which are basically bursts of radiation on the sun’s surface, could hit GPS and communications signals. The fact that it is occurring on Friday the 13th is making some people (like us) nervous, but scientists promise it is unlikely to result in an Armageddon or Deep Impact-like situation and will only result in a “minor geomagnetic storm.” Phew!

The virtual bugs causing real problems!!! :whoo:

[h=3]Massive Gmail bug may have exposed every single user’s address[/h] A huge flaw in Google’s wildly popular Gmail service was recently discovered that may have exposed the email addresses of every single user. According to a report from Wired, security researcher Oren Hafif found and helped Google fix a serious bug that left Gmail users’ email addresses exposed to anyone with a bit of patience. While digging up addresses would have taken quite a bit of time, the report notes that the bug had existed for years before it was fixed, and it easily could have been utilized to obtain every Gmail user’s address. According to the report, the bug would not have exposed any passwords or other sensitive data. “The exploit involved a lesser-known account-sharing feature of Gmail that allows

[h=3]More states report cases of mosquito-borne chikungunya virus[/h] By Letitia Stein TAMPA Fla. (Reuters) - A painful, mosquito-borne viral illness has surfaced across the United States, carried by recent travelers to the Caribbean where the virus is raging. Health officials in North Carolina, Nebraska and Indiana this week reported the first confirmed chikungunya cases in those states, along with Tennessee, which has suspected cases. Chikungunya has rapidly spread in the Caribbean in recent months, sending thousands of patients to hospitals with painful joints, pounding headaches and spiking fevers. Florida's 25 cases account for the majority reported in the United States, according to state health officials and the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

  • There Is 'No Water, No Power, No Nothing' In The Pro-Russian Stronghold In East Ukraine

Homes destroyed by fighting in eastern Ukraine. Like many others in the flash point eastern Ukrainian city of Slavyansk, she has come to central Lenin Square to fill her bottle from the stagnant pool at the fountain. For the past week, since fighting between pro-Russian rebels and government troops led to the destruction of the water supply, a trip to the fountain on Lenin Square has become a daily routine for many people in Slavyansk. It's a fate that they have to share with millions of others in the Donetsk region of eastern Ukraine, where the water supply has been curtailed or halted entirely.

  • [h=3]423-Million-Year-Old Fish Was Once Earth's Largest Vertebrate[/h] Scientists have unearthed a fossilized fish that was once the biggest vertebrate of its day. The predatory sea creature, dubbed Megamastax amblyodus, which means "big mouth, blunt teeth," prowled the oceans about 423 million years ago and used its flat teeth for crushing the shells of its slow-moving, hard-shelled prey. The Devonian period saw the rise of some of Earth's largest vertebrate predators, including the terrifying Dunkleosteus, a massive predatory fish that could grow to be 33 feet (10 meters) long. But most of the fossil vertebrates unearthed from the early Devonian, or what's known as the Silurian period, were relatively small, with the largest uncovered fossil being just 14 inches (35 centimeters) long.
