பரசுராமராகத் தோன்றினார் ஜமதக்னி முனியிடம்.

திரேதா யுகத்தில் தசரத மன்னனுக்கு
ஸ்ரீ ராமராகப் பிறந்தார் ரகு வம்சத்தில்,

துவாபரயுகம் இருபத்தெட்டாவது சதுர் யுகத்தில்
அவதரித்தார் கிருஷ்ண, அர்ஜுனர்களாக.

எங்கும் நிறைந்தவர் பரமாத்மா எனினும்
எதற்கும் புலப்படாதவர் பரமாத்மா.

ஆதாரம், உருவம், ஆசைகள் இல்லாதவர்;
அறிய முடியாதவர் அந்தப் பரமாத்மா.

முக்குண பேதத்தால் மும்மூர்த்தி ஆகின்றார்
முத்தொழில்கள் புரிகின்றனர் மும்மூர்த்திகள்.

இத்தனைக்கும் காரணம் சக்தி தேவியே.
அத்தனையும் கட்டுப்படுகின்றன அவளுக்கு.

We did not see golden Kanip poo on VISHU day even though it grows in our backyard.

We forgot to pluck it in the previous evening!

I had not worn any extra jewels beside my mangal sutra, ear ring, nose ring and a thin bracelet.

So I could not keep gold in the Vishuk kani.

But it was compensated by the kutties.

Juju wore a flower printed ready-to-wear-sari in Golden yellow

(tailored and gifted by her favorite chinna paatti)

and Varun wore a yellow ocher kurta set.

Varun learned a new funny word today.

I got tired of calling for my husband as "Appa!" several times

and finally called out loudly "Yappaaav!"

Varun found it very catchy and learned it immediately.

Varun can find the key word in a sentence

and even form his own portmanteau words.

Yesterday when he was doing circus, I warned him

"dummaanu keezhe vizhuve. apparam baynnu azhuve!

He formed the newest portmanteau word Dummabay on the spot.

One of my articles on unusual animals Komondor draws good traffic.

I showed the image of the Komondor to Juju and

she immediately renamed it more aptly.

Any wild guesses?

I wanted to make vadai and paayasam for lunch on Vishu and

my elder son wanted them prepared in the evening

They were mega hits but I am sure they were not upto my usual standard!!!

She will do well since she is pencil thin
and underweight for her height and age.
She loves to watch the clippings of Ballet on P.C.
