She could pass off for just another old lady
(an octogenarian)
BUT for her voice, music and spirituality!
In face she looks so much like our dear Doctor peria maami.
Withered by age and racked by infirmities but always with a winning smile!!!

Guess my feelings when got a cheque for Rs 750/- from The Hindu,

full five years after I had stopped contributing articles to it!!!:typing:

May be I should renew my efforts to reclaim my space in it ! :bump2:

How did #2 Homunculus become 77. Homunculus in the course of the day,
I just renumbered all the sections so that the serial number is made continuous.

Or so it appears. Till yesterday I was supposed to be
wasting my time, ruining my health, spoiling my eyes etc...
but presto suddenly my blogs have earned the status/ respect
they had always deserved in the home front! :rolleyes:
Some people do not know the joy of
doing things without relating it to money.
So persons who sing for themselves,
persons who write for free,
and persons who teach for free are
ALL considered as freaks and :der:
AND I qualify on these three grounds!!! :)
 
It is so easy to fall in the trap of ALL OR NONE!!!

By interacting with ALL, often we get hurt
or they try to hurt us - may be unsuccessfully.

By interacting with NONE we miss the warmth of friendship
and fellowship of the many good persons in the forum.

As always discretion is the better part of interaction. :decision:

Even those who do not have time/ inclination/desire

to enter the individual blogs

always make it a point to visit

all the pages in the Blog of blogs! :dance:

Who was that man who looked quite out of place
on the bumpy country sandy lane
wearing a thoppi, with a bulging thoppai,
with the ear phones screwed in to his ear,
wearing a short T shirts and shoes???

His face was hidden by a huge pair of goggles.
It was quite a sight early in the morning!

Early morning wearers of hats do not do it to
protect themselves from sun and rain
