We have a new cat in the temple.
It won't budge from there however threatened.
I am sure it loves the honey laced abhishekhap paal (like I do!)
No one will really harm a cat of course.
It has the most pathetic and heart melting mew.
Today the pujariji drove it away saying "PODI!"
since he had already given her daily quota in the morning itself.
I was amused that in spite of his busy schedule,
he had the time and interest to discover,
whether it was a "PODA!" or a "PODI!!!

For cats it is quite easy to know Male of Female by just looking at their face itself..if we do not have the time to look elsewhere.

Female cats are more beautiful with triangular faces.

Male cats have square jaws and look a bit more fierce.

A graticule on a sphere or an ellipsoid. The lines from pole to pole are lines of constant longitude, or meridians. The circles parallel to the equator are lines of constant latitude, or parallels. The graticule determines the latitude and longitude of position on the surface.

The prime meridian,[SUP][1][/SUP] based at the Royal Observatory, Greenwich, was established by Sir George Airy in 1851. By 1884, over two-thirds of all ships and tonnage used it as the reference meridian on their maps. In October of that year, at the behest of U.S. President Chester A. Arthur, 41 delegates from 25 nations met in Washington, D.C., USA, for the International Meridian Conference. This conference selected the meridian passing through Greenwich as the official prime meridian due to its popularity. However, France abstained from the vote and French maps continued to use the Paris meridian for several decades.
The prime meridian passes through the Airy transit circle (51°28′40.1247″N 0°0′5.3101″W[SUP][2][/SUP]) of the Greenwich observatory. It was long marked by a brass strip in the courtyard, now upgraded to stainless steel, and, since 16 December 1999, has been marked by a powerful green laser shining north across the London night sky.

I suppose Prof. MSK never expected any one to be bothered about his location!

Of course, his choice of the numbers could be considered ambiguous since he left out the associated signs or symbols. Strictly it should be (43N, 74W) or (43,-74). Unless, of course he is living in Almaty, Kazhakstan which is 43,74. I just took a guess.
