Signatures of bullet cartridges point to common killers of three rationalists
Forensic analysis of bullet cartridges found at the scene of murder of Kannada scholar M M Kalburgi in Dharwad in August this year and comparison with cartridges recovered from the spots where communist leader Govind Pansare was killed in Kolhapur earlier this year, and rationalist Narendra Dabholkar in Pune in 2013, has provided evidence of the probable involvement of a common set of killers. While the three cases were earlier being linked on the basis of the profile of the victims, probable motives, modus operandi and the 7.65-mm countrymade genre of weapons used for the killings, the cartridges provide the first physical evidence linking the murders. Dabholkar, 69, was shot dead in Pune by four bullets fired from a 7.65-mm countrymade pistol while Pansare, 81, and his wife Uma Pansare were shot at with five bullets from two 7.65 mm countrymade weapons.

RSS used women to stop me from entering temple: Rahul Gandhi

New Delhi, Dec.14 (ANI): In a fresh salvo at BJP-led NDA Government at the Centre, Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi on Monday said that the Rashtriya Swayam Sevak (RSS) stopped him from entering a temple in Assam by using women as a blockade. "I had gone to Assam and I wanted to visit a temple in Barpeta. At the temple, the RSS people stopped me from entering.

புரட்டாசி அமாவாசைதான் மகாளய அமாவாசையாகும். தை அமாவாசை, ஆடி அமாவாசை ஆகியவற்றை விட உயர்ந்தது இது.
மகாளயம் என்றால் கூட்டமாக வருதல், பட்சம் என்றால் 15 நாட்கள். மறைந்த நம் முன்னோர் மொத்தமாக கூடும் நேரமே மகாளய பட்சம்.


மறைந்த முன்னோர் 15 நாட்கள் நம்மோடு தங்கும் காலமே மகாளய பட்சம். மற்ற மாதங்களில் அமாவாசையன்று முன்னோரை நினைத்து தர்ப்பணம் செய்வோம். அவர்கள் மறைந்த தமிழ் மாதத்தில் வரும் திதியில், சிராத்தம் முதலியன செய்வோம். ஆனால், மகாளய பட்ச காலத்தில் பிரதமை துவங்கி அமாவாசை வரை தினமும் தர்ப்பணம் செய்ய

9ம்நாள் நவமி சிறந்த வாழ்க்கைத்துணை, குடும்பத்திற்கேற்ற, மருமகள் அமைதல், பேத்தி, புத்திசாலியான பெண் குழந்தைகள் பிறத்தல்.

புராணங்களில் மகாளய பட்சம் :


1. கருடபுராணம், விஷ்ணு புராணம், வராக புராணம் போன்ற தெய்வீக நூல்களில் மகாளய பட்சத்தின் சிறப்புகள் கூறப்பட்டுள்ளன.


2. ஸ்ரீமந்நாராயணனே ராமாவதார, கிருஷ்ணாவதார காலங்களில் பிதுர்பூஜை செய்து முன்னோர்களை வழிபாடு செய்துள்ளதாக புராணங்கள் கூறுகின்றன.


3. பசியின் கொடுமை பல தானங்களை செய்த கர்ணனையே வாட்டியது. அதற்கு காரணம் கர்ணன் அன்னதானம் செய்யாததுதான் என்று கூறப்பட்டது. எனவே, அந்தக் குறையைப் போக்க மீண்டும் பூலோகம் வந்து கர்ணன் அன்னதானம் செய்து திருப்தி அடைந்தது இந்த மகாளய பட்ச காலம் என்று மகாபாரதம் கூறுகிறது.


அமாவாசையில் குல மூதாதையர்களை நினைத்து செய்யும் தான தர்மங்கள் அவர்களை சந்தோஷப்படுத்துவதுடன் நோய் நொடிகள் அகலும், நீண்ட ஆயுளும், நிறைந்த செல்வமும், மங்காத புகழும் அமையும். இப் பூஜையால் தீராத கடன் ஒழியும். தீர்க்க முடியாத வியாதிகள் குறையும். யார் விட்ட சாபமோ என அஞ்சிய வாழ்க்கை அகலும் என்று முன்னோர்கள் தெரிவித்துள்ளனர்.


ஆக, அதியற்புதமான- தெய்வீக ஆற்றல்களைக் கொண்ட நமது பித்ருக்களுக்குத் தர்ப்பணங்கள், திவசங்கள், படையல்களை முறையாக அளித்து, பல்லாயிரக்கணக்கான நம் கர்ம வினைகளுக்குப் பரிகாரம் தரும் மஹாளய பட்ச தர்ப்பண தான- தர்மங்களை நிறைவேற்றி நல்வழி காண்போமாக !!!

Government moves to double MPs’ salary to Rs 2.8 lakh a month

If a proposal in this regard is approved by the Finance Ministry, every MP will get Rs 2.8 lakh per month. The government has proposed increasing the monthly salary of an MP from Rs 50,000 to Rs 1 lakh, constituency allowance from Rs 45,000 to Rs 90,000 and secretarial assistance plus office allowance from Rs 45,000 to Rs 90,000. The proposal, currently with the Finance Ministry, also suggests that basic pension should be raised from Rs 20,000 per month to Rs 35,000.
