I wrote this for one of our wedding anniversary...

The spine inside me…
That grew this grass into a tree
As I stand today and see
Dear, you have grown inside me..

You are still growing inside me..
Like a baby every week
In everything that I do
You sit inside and tweak

As I leave for work daily
Your training triggers inside me
A self-test that runs fully
Cash, Purse, Key and hanky...

As I keep something down
Your voice inside me frowns
Have you kept it in proper place?
So that you can re-trace..

As I pick my pant and shirt
Inside me, your eyes check first
Are they a real match..?
Are there any other catch..?

As I attempt a short-cut
Anywhere in home or work
Your words sound inside me
Do not hurry and later worry..

Two becoming one may be myth
I becoming you is the Truth..
You grow inside as my soul
With you only, I make a 'whole'...

Wow! I was under the impression that spine is just a network of cables connecting various parts of the body to the brain. I never knew it was doing all the thinking and also became the conscience slowly and steadily.

Thank you Sir!!! I stand enlightened.

So the spine is an additional processing unit cum editor and sorts out the

info and stimuli received.

It decides whether these are important enough to be conveyed to the brain.

They have special white (not red??) hot lines and regular lines.

They can be developed to pass on more info and let us live in closer

proximity to nature.

May be animals specialize in this nonverbal level of existence and it helps

them to sense natural calamities long before they occur. anda:

Spine not only supports the man but also helps to keep the traffic inside it

regular, meaningful and under control.

So mind the mischief maker is hiding behind us in our spine.

Are spine-less fellows mind-less too??

I think that explains a lot really!!!

No spine.. no mind.. no thinking... no determination... no courage

and he is rightly branded as a spineless-worm.
