Touchscreens are great, and even now they feel futuristic and intuitive. However, all that awesomeness is for the price of accuracy and tactility, two things needed for worry-free mobile Typing.
A few years ago, we saw a Solution that was unbelievably great: It basically was a concept where the keys rose out of the Screen, and then recessed back into the Screen as if they never existed. It is the perfect combination of a Touchscreen and a Keyboard, and since it is basically a layered solution, you could get keys that could morph to your usage.
For example, while typing you will get a Keyboard and while Gaming you’ll get a Joystick. Pretty cool, right?
We haven’t seen it in a consumer Product until now. Tactus is announcing a Product for the iPad Mini that is the first step on its way to truly achieving the concept it dreamt up.
