The Congress debacle in the state assembly elections

The recently held elections to U.P, Punjab, Goa, Manipur & Uttarakhand state assemblies was a sort of nemesis for the Congress...Rahul Gandhi himself upped the ante & was leading the campaign in UP where Congress came a poor fourth...It could not win on anti incumbency in Punjab...In Uttarakhand it is struggling to form the Government....the saving grace is Manipur....I remember the post MGR Tamil nadu state election in 1989 when Rajiv Gandhi himself came to TN 13 times to campaign for his party & it came a poor third...Does the election prove that Congress is no more a force to reckon with in our country or is a harbinger for a greater role for regional satraps to pull the strings in the next parliament election...
 
congress deserves more than that. They are looting/reining the country in every way.2G spectrum scandal now Submarine deal (Dr Subramania swamy reveal to press) etc... Italian lady supporting thief karunanidhi even though DMK was accused in
Rajiv Gandhi's assassination by Jain Commission. Further Manmohan singh using
CBI as Congress Bureau of Investigation for foisting cases again BJP.

I wish congress should be wiped out in next Lok sabha elections and let them
learn a lesson from that. On whole India was looted by Congress stalwarts...

Unless and until the party necks out all its coterie, the cabinet ministers, from the party and also snap unholy alliances, and listen to sane advices it has no redemption. Our present Defense Minister is a party. He does not seem to be handling his portfolio well. Chips are coming out from there too.
 
The going in BJP is also not great, but it looks better than the Congress at this stage...Looks like there would be a confederation of regional parties with some sort of arrangement with NDA...This would be the winning combination in next parliament poll
