In the south normally devotees are not permitted into the garbha raham
I hink Bhimasankar a jyotlinga is the firstt southern temple to differ rom the practice
I differentiate temples South of the Narmada as South
Right from Bhimaankar to Kedarnath you can perform pooja and Abhishekam
No des code is there except in Lngaraja temple in Bhubhaneshwar
Where I was asked to wear Pancakatcham an my wife was asked to cover her head with her Palu
This condition was there in Puri also. But my wife was not asked to cover her head in Puri
Anoter interesting fact
In some temples in Himachal both of us were asked to cover our heads
Most interesting
In the Gayatri temple in Himachal near Kullu the priest was a lady and she said ladies can chant gaythri and initiated my wife
