Instead of TAMIL BRAHMINS it will be apt if we say TAMIL KNOWLEDGE OR TAMIL WISDOM OR TAMIL BRAHMIN WISDOM so that more people will participate

The web site is to share the customs, tradition of tamil brahmins..We are niche group who are facing a silent persecution by the political system (both Ruling and Opposition) in Tamil Nadu...What is important is quality of content not numbers per se..We need a separate identity to ensure that our culture does not go into oblivion

Tamil knowledge - Many members here can not read Tamil fonts!

Tamil wisdom - Rarely members quote from Tamil literature. Most quotes are from Sanskrit or English!

Tamil brahmin wisdom - There are many active members who are not tambrams!

I don"t know what i wanted to say is "this knowledge can be shared by all" ...call it anything ...but just like nadar kalaynam web site...this knowledge does not belong to brahmins only...this knowledge belongs to ancient rishis...(sanathan dharma not hindu religion)...perhaps we can call world wisdom or ancient wisdom or collective wisdom....no body is interested...i just close with this

Dear Vaithehi,

I am one of the active members here and I am a Non Brahmin.

I dont really think the name of the Forum needs to be changed cos anyone who is interested can join in..its actually quite fun here too.

Naming this site wisdom alone might make it sound a little too serious cos out here we have a balanced forum with wisdom, fun and sometimes Mega Fights!LOL

So lets all have fun here without the need to change the name.
